Hilary Clinton was born in Chicago on October 26, 1947.
She is the eldest of three.
Attended Maine East High School in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Participated in student council, the school newspaper, and NHS.
Enrolled at Wellesley College and majored in political science.

Applied for NASA but was rejected b/c girls were not accepted.
Inspired by Martin Luther King to become a part of some public service.
1970: secured a grant and worked for Children's Defense Fund.

1974, became a faculty member at Univ. Arkansas Law School.
