One divine essence

• Brahman, for the Aryan people, is the single, unchanging spiritual substance residing in and uniting all things.
• Brahma is viewed as the god who created all things.
• Both are so abstract that they aren't really worshipped.

VISHNU protects and preserves the universe.

Vishnu

• The conch shell represents creation; it makes the sound of the universe, OM
• The disc represents the mind
• The lotus flower represents existence and liberation
• The mace or staff represents strength
