VEDA

The Veda are ancient Religious texts meant to define truth for Hindus. It is also sometimes called Shruti, which means hearing. This references the tradition of passing down the text orally. It is said that this text comes straight from the mouth of God. The modern version of the text is from between 1200-200 BCE.

DHARMA

Dharma means duty, virtue, morality, and religion. It is the power that maintains society, makes grass grow, makes the sun shine, and makes people moral. It is the basic moral code. Sva-Dharma is personal morality, as the same social rules don't apply to everyone.

SUPREME GOD

Brahman is the power that upholds and supports everything. The Supreme God is believed to be the original god, and all the other gods are the qualities and forms of the Supreme God represented as many deities. He is absolute creating, sustaining, and destroying the universes. There are two different forms one an impersonal energy beyond human understanding, and the other a loving human form.
