  • HE WAS A GREEK PLIPOSOPHER
  • HE THOUGHT THAT THE EARTH WAS IN THE CENTER OF ALL THINGS
  • He thought that if the earth when around the sun the stars would shift as the earth moves

ARISTARCHUS

  • He was a Greek astronomer and mathematician
  • Aristarchus attempted to measure the relative distance to the moon and sun
  • Aristarchus ratio was too small but was an important observation and geometry to solve

  • He was a astronomer, geographer and mathematician
  • He wrote a book about the planets
  • He thought that the planets went in smaller circles while being turn in big circles

  • He felt the system was too complicated
  • He thought that all the planets went in a perfect circles
  • And the moon went around the earth

  • He was an mathematician and astronomer
  • He noticed that the planets can't fit perfectly
  • He tried other paths and found the best fit was ellipse
  • They call this the Kepler law

GALILEO

  • He was a scientist who approached question know as today as scentific method
  • Could see the planets though telescope
  • He proved that the earth is not in the center
