Osama bin laden was born in Sadia Arabia in 1957. He was Muslim and turned to terrorism at a young age. He created an entire terrorist group and attacked many countries including the U.S. He also Put together the 9/11 attack and Declared war on the U.S. On May 2, 2011 he was killed by the U.S. Navy seals team.

Music is a big part of culture today. Facts show that 90% of people spend their time listening to music, and it has grown to be one of the biggest businesses. It is also a way to be very rich and famous, just ask Beyoncé. It makes up more then 80% sales income in the U.S.

Newtown elementary school shooting on December 14th, 2012 where a gunman shot and killed 20 children and 6 adults including himself; leaving the world in shock and sorrow. This event became the 2nd worst school shooting in the U.S. And began the debate over gun control and school safety.

The Boston bombing that occurred on April 15, 2013 happened at the Boston marathon; injuring 264 people and killing 3. It was planned by two young men who were motivated by religion and terrorism. This event caused bigger security issues, but also bigger numbers of athletes to run and support the victims.
