CHILDHOOD
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889, on an Easter Sunday at 6:30 PM.
He had 5 siblings, 4 died before their teenage years.
His brother, Gustav, died at age 2. His sister Ida died at the same age.
Otto died before he could have his first birthday, and Edmund died at 6. His sister, Paul, lived from 1896-1960.
Hitler's father was very short tempered and often unleashed his frustrations onto his son.

CHILDHOOD (CONTINUED)
His mother loved him very much. However, she had little control of her husband.
At 14, Hitler lost his father. Later, his mother died of breast cancer.
In primary school, he was a very good student and recieved high marks.
He also seemed to be the ringleader among his friends.
After primary school, Adolf was enrolled in a science-focused school.

CHILDHOOD (CONTINUED)
He didn't like the school. His grades went down signifigantly.
Though he wanted a higher expectation, he stopped going to school at 16.
5.
INVOLVEMENT IN WW1
In the army, Hitler felt a sense of belonging. He joined at 25.
He often volunteered for dangerous tasks and nearly died.
Sometimes he would take out his watercolors and paint scenes of the war.
He never complained about the conditions, lack of food, or inconveniences.
He injured his leg, was temporarily blinded by gas, and became depressed.

ORIGINAL LIFE DREAMS
Hitler originally wanted to become an artist.
He urged his mother to allow him to pursue his dream.
7.
RISE TO POLITICAL POWER
Adolf was a natural speaker and leader.
He attracted Germans seeking change.
Some considered him a savior of the nation.
He was eventually elected as Chancellor of the government.
His rise took place during an economic depression.
8.
PROMINANT PHILOSOPHIES AND ACTIONS
Hitler believed Germans were the master race and others were inferior.
