BASIC INTRO
Hittites
They lived 2000-1200 B.C.
They first appeared in Asia Minor(Around Turkey)
It is said that Kaskan barbarians becasue of their plentyfull riches
They were attacked in 1275 B.C.E and lost

ADVANCED CITIES & GOV.
They were developed as a group because they all knew a language
This language was a harder version of cuneiform its called the Indo-European language
It was started in Anatolia in the 17 century B.C.E
They no longer exist after losing a hard fought battle
They had a Theocracy government and have a king as the religious leader

They had a certain type of language, based off of cuneiform
They spoke indo-european
The hittites code was called the Code of Nesilim
Hittites were one of the first groups to mine iron ore
This was great because they could make iron weapons

SOCIAL STRUCTURE
Hittites have a normal social ladder just like everyone else
Top group was the king(priest), warriors, metal workers, farmers, slaves
Mainly based on miners to go and get iron ore for blacksmith
Had many farmers to make food for the people

RELIGON
They would build statues of Teshub and worship the statue
They were polytheistic
Their supreme deity was called Teshub
Teshub was known as the Storm God

ANALYSIS/CONCLUSION
Hittites were important cause they were one of the first groups to use iron
They came up with a language Indo-European based off of cuneiform writing
They attacked Babylon and won then retreated back to their own land
