The Holocaust was a time during WW2 where over 9 million Jewish people were tortured and over 6 million were killed.

What is a gas chamber?

A gas chamber is a chamber that sprays a poisonous gas called Zyklon B.

Anne Frank is known to most as the girl who hid in a house, but her story is much more than that. Annelies Marie Frank was born June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. She died in 1945 at the age of 16 in the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp in Germany. A fun fact about Anne was that she was actually born the same year as Martin Luther King Jr. and Barbra Walters.

Lilli Henoch was born October 26,1899. She was a track and field athlete who set world records and competed in the discus throw, the shot put, and 4X10 relay race. She was machine gunned to death along with her mother. She died at the age of 43. A fun fact about Lilli was that she won the German national championships 10 times!

Hana brady was born May 16, 1931 and died October 23,1944. she was only 13 when she was murdered by the nazis in a gas chamber. Fun fact about Hanička Bradyová was actually famous for her suitcase.

Adolf Hitler was the ruler of the Nazis and was a terrible human being. He was married with no children. He committed suicide by gun shot the day after marrying a long time break girl friend.
Fun fact about him is that if his parents would not of been married his name would have been Adolf Schicklgruber.

The holocaust Began January 30, 1933 and ended May 8, 1945. WW2 started September 1, 1939 and ended September 2, 1945.

There is a museum in Washington D.C that gives you a person that was alive in the Holocaust. Then you go through the museum and you get to see if you have survived.

What is a concencration camp? A concencration camp is a place where they put the people who were tortured and forced into labor.Some concentration camps are located in Czechoslovakia, Auschwitz, Belzec, Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, Chelmno, Dachau, Flossenburg,and Gross-Rosen.
