WHAT WAS HE FAMOUS FOR ?
Homer was famous for the stories The Iliad and The Odyssey .These stories taught about courage , honor , and to be loyal to your friends and to value your relationship between husband and wife . His heroes became Greek role models for boys. He wrote about the Trojan War in the two stories. These stories were made during 700BC (1) the story Iliad was about the story of The siege of Troy. Odyssey was about after the Fall Of Troy (2)

What is their Background ?
Was born some time in the 12th and 8th century some where along the coast of Asia Minor. Might have been born in Lonia, Smyrna. Some people say that Homer might of been blind. People say he has curly thick hair , beard, and sightless eyes. Many believed he was the educator of Greece. He was the god father of Greece's natural culture. He was a court singer and a story teller. "Homer is a mystery " they said. Homer died 707 BCE . (2)
