BACKGROUND INFO

• Give settler right to settle in public domain
• The settler have to cultivated the land for 5 year
• The government offer 160 acres of free land
• After 5year settler on have to pay a small fees
• Allow farmer to grant land for small fees

WOMEN

• Women are allow to grant land
• Have to be single, divorced or widowed
• Same right as men

PURPOSE AND BENIFIT

• Attract immigrant to settle in the west
• Increase farming and economic
• Improve the lands in general
