The no homework idea started In 2000. there was a school in Piscataway, N.J., that stopped homework. And there was a book that came out around the same time, The End of Homework. This started people thinking that homework doesn’t make sense. It takes too much time, and it’s just busywork.

The Denton Independent School District is changing there grading methods. Teachers will still be handing out letter grades, but the means of calculating those scores will be different than just about any other school district in North Texas

Reasonable solution: teachers in high school should only be allowed to assign about twenty minuets of homework for each class so that the student does not get stressed out from having to complete piles of homework each night
