As the Giants killed the humans the last man made a air ballon made by using convection which means the hot air rises which makes the ballon rise.
As the hot air ballon rises a tornado rises and creates convection currents that the air ballon gets sucked into.
As the giant reaches abroad to catch the ballon he misses because the convection currents blew him away.
