  • The first shell was stuffed with wood splinters and gunpowder.
  • In 1877 the shells were made of steel.
  • In 1942 explosive rounds were used in war.
  • In the 1800's smoke was shot out of the shell.
  • No one knows who made the bullet.
  • Police used the shotgun in 1923.
  • In the older days around 1912 you could bring a shotgun any where.

  • They stoped using lead bb's for the environment.
  • Explosive rounds came out in ww2.
  • You can shoot blank rounds for shooting cans out of a shotgun.
  • Slug rounds were shot at tanks in ww2 to pierce the armor.

HOW IT WORKS

  • First, The gun coil hits the primer.
  • Next, The primer causes sparks and makes the gunpowder light and cause combustion.
  • Finally the combustion pushes out the wad and the wad pushes the bb's causing the impact to the target.
  • When that happens the bb's spread and have a wider range.
