Mentor, Ohio was known for having many nurseries.

Since the population has grown, the square miles of nurseries has gone down

Family fun and lots of space to move

Full on commercial and retail heaven

Big, clean beaches and water at Lake Erie no erosion. 

Not used as much for recreation due to dirty water and beach

Originally it was Mentor's High School

Completely renovated with more room and new gym

Was a mega mall built in the 1970's

Has more than 120 retail stores in its newest renovation

This is where my grandpa was Mentor's Police Chief

Mentor Police Department is part of Civic Center

Every so often, it has devastating fires that kills wildlife and plants.

Home to over 20 species of animals on 700 acres

No cars, not many people in the 1800's

Construction  and homes and more people

1800's - Trees and dirt roads(looking North)

Flooding due to over-expansion no drainage(looking south)

Formerly a small, green farm town

A booming, retail giant
