I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach,

-Breadth: N. the width
-She loves with with all her soul
-Her love cannot be measured, it's far too vast

when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being an ideal grace

-Her love is beyond her comprehension and she strives to keep that love at it's maximum potential

I love thee to to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

Her love will be quiet and never ending
Everyday she will meet his every need, day or night

I love thee freely,
as men strive for right.

She has chosen him on her own and it is morally right for her to love whomever she feels love for

I love thee purely, as they turn from praise

She doesn't need rewarded or praised for her love

I love thee with passion put to use
in my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

Her passion is well spent on love

her griefs are from her mother and brother's deaths and she focuses that love for her husband now

Her childhood's faith is her passion and love for her religion she had as a child and it was equal to her love for him now

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose with my lost saints.

She is no longer as passionate about God as she was when she was a child, but all that passion and love is for him now

I love the with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life;

Every show of emotion, every action, all of her life has followed her love, which is her love for him now

and if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

She wants to go to heaven with her husband in death and have eternal love
