STAR MOTIONS

  • Stars appear to move east to west
  • This motion is caused from earth turing west to east
  • The sun motions during the day is also caused by earths movement

SEASONAL CHANGES

  • Constellations and star patterns are the same year after year
  • The ones you can see vary from season to season
  • You can find Orion in the eastern sky in winter
  • In spring Orion disappears after sunset
  • Seasonal changes are caused by earths orbit around the sun
