PRESENTATION OUTLINE

HOW DOES GEOGRAPHY AFFECT

THE INFLUENCE OF SEASONAL CHANGES?

Earth's tilt affects where
The sunlight hits all year long
That's how seasons work.

For the northern hemisphere, Summer is the warmest time of year. It's because the top part of Earth is facing the sun

LATITUDE
Because the rays of the sun are more direct at the equator,
the warmest temperatures are at countries near the equator.

Elevation
In more northern countries with a higher elevation, like the Nordic countries, the sun does not hit as well and it turns out more colder than other parts of Europe.

THE OCEAN

THE OCEAN ALSO AFFECTS THE CLIMATE OF AN AREA.
