3.
what I think of the original flight plane
Originally took off in Hampton, Ny.
Suppose to land in the oil fields of Canada were the tree line of tundra stared and the forest ended.
I believe the closest place for the landing description is the city Yellowknife, CA
The clues in the book helped me find the info I need to find the original flight plan.

4.
what I think went wrong
The book states that the soon to be dead pilot shook the plane which leads it to turn off the origanal flight plane
I believe he went off the flight plane around the state Ottaw, CA

The calculations
For my calculations I used mental math and a calculator
Find the new location of the new flight plan I needed to use math
flight plan was before the new one started

7.
The calculations
First I needed to find how long the original flight plan was before the new one started
To do that I need to answer this question, how long is it from Hampton NY to Yellowstone CA
The answer is 1,973

Measuring
Then I needed to measure my map
To do this need a ruler
Now I draw a line fromHampton, Ny to Yellowstone, CA
I then divide that line into centimeters and count how many centimeters
The next step I did was divide 1,973 by how many centimeters. I had 17.
I have the answer 163
This answer shown me how many miles each centimeter is on my map.

The time
In the book it says Brian was in the air for four hours total
This means that we need to find a time before the flight plane.Which is 1hr and 30 min.

10.
Now we find Brian
First I need to find how hard he turned the plane
The book does not give that statement so I need to give a reasonable answer.

Now we find Brian #2
Next we take the number 163 (slide eight) and use that to tell how long the line is
12.
were Brian is
I believe Brian crash landed into a lake in the state Manito, CA, based on the calculations, maps, websites, and the locations.
