BONY FISH
Water enters the gills through the fishs mouth and exits through gill openings under the operculum. Then blood flowing through the gill filaments absorbs oxygen from the water.

Differences

  • A bony fish has gills dolphins don't.
  • Dolphins have hair on their skin.
  • Bony fish are cold-blooded and dolphins are war-blooded
  • Bony fish have scaly skin and dolphins have smooth
  • Dolphins move their tails up-and-down to swim and bony fist move theirs side-to-side.
  • Bony fish lay eggs, and dolphins give birth to their young.
