• When you recieve additional training you gain new skills.
• You can do this through college or vocational training.

vocational education

• This is when you're trained in a specific job.
• This usually takes around two years or less to complete.
• This pays less than more advanced degrees.

undergraduate college

• This is a four-year college or university where students earn a bachelor's degree.
• These degrees usually have starting salaries of more than 40,000 a year.
• Many graduates and begin working immediately as accountants, engineers, and teachers.

Community college

• This is a smaller scale college located in your community.
• Usually cheaper than a four-year college or university.
• Most community colleges offer a degree after two years called and associates degree.
• Many students do two years at community college and finish the other two at an undergraduate college.

Graduate school

• These are attended after completing a four year bachelors degree program.
