HOW TO BECOME A VET:
To enter the field, one must usually earn a bachelors
degree.
And then complete a four-year veterinary medicine program.
To earn a doctor of veterinary medicine, one must licensure and then
may still work in small animal clinics.

WHAT A VET DOES:
Vets prevent and treat illnesses and injuries in animals.
They might specialize in a type of veterinary medicine, such as surgery,
and/or a group of animals such as ( horses, dogs, or wildlife. )

VETS DUTIES:
Diagnosing patients, prescribing medication, preforming surgery, giving
vaccinations, and providing heath care recommendations to pet owners.
May also conduct research in areas such as biomedical sciences.
7.
DEGREE:
Doctorate required
Veterinary medicine
Licensure: must pass the North American veterinary licensing exam to
earn licensure.
Experience: varies widely to each employer and field of practice.
