THE MINDSET NEEDED
You will not always be succesful
The more work you put in, the more rewarding it is
You can always take friends. It's all about fun!
It isn't about the killing, it's about tricking the bird to you
Even if you don't succeed, get back out until you are!
6.
SCOUTING (MOST IMPORTANT)
Your chances of being successful where there aren't birds are near none
Don't be afraid to put on 500 miles to find the spot
Drive around the area where birds are in flight
Hit the backroads hard. they won't always be right near the road
Once you find birds, find the land owners and ask for permission!
7.
FAVORITE SAYING
99 NO'S FOR 1 YES, WHEN GETTING LAND PERMISSION.
8.
SHOOTING THE BIRDS
Don't aim at them directly or you'll miss
Aim where they're going, not where they've been
If they fall, but don't die, take a finishing shot.
If you only need one more for a limit, and you get two, call it in
