CHECK FERMENTATION - THAT SHOULD BEGIN WITHIN FIVE DAYS.
YOU MUST TEST WITH A HYDROMETER BEFORE BOTTLING
TASTE YOUR CIDER FOR SWEETNESS/DRYNESS FROM JANUARY ONWARDS
GOLDEN RULES:
- Use clean fruit
- Sterilise containers and equipment then rinse well
- Use air locks or damp hessian cloth to keep out the dreaded vinegar fly
- Never bottle if still fermenting
- Next year's cider will always taste better!!!
