HOW TO RIDE A BIKE

HISTORY

• First bikes were made in 1817
• Bikes where first used as a waker.
• The person that made the bike is Baron Von Drais
• He made them to get around easer.

Some people ride bikes to go to school,job or going to the store or just riding for fun.

Make sure to ware a helmet and some other things if you can so you don't get hurt.

Improvements to the design began to be seen, many with the small wheel in the front to eliminate the tipping-forward problem. They made the wheels even.

The pnuematic tire was first applied to the bicycle by an Irish veterinarian who was trying to give his young son a more comfortable ride on his tricycle. This inventive young doctor's name was Dunlop.

Many mechanical innovations now associated with the automobile were originally invented for tricycles.

Because the rider sat so high above the center of gravity, if the front wheel was stopped by a stone or rut in the road, the entire apparatus rotated forward on its front axle so they fell.

Some people use training wheels so they don't fall and help keep balance.
