How to Stay Safe Online

Stay on safe websites

• websites like .gov or .net
• Make sure there are not too many commercials on that site
• Or websites that you have been on before 
• a website a teacher or parent might recommend 

Never Give Anyone your Personal Information

• Passwords
• Real Names
• Address
• Pictures of yourself sent to strangers
• Birthdays

Add Friends only if you know the person

• if you see a message from someone you don't know don't answer them
• block the person if he says or sends  inappropriate things or tell an adult

Be careful of what you post

• Be sure that your fine if people see that picture or post
• And send it to people that YOU only know
• make sure when you post a comment that it is not rude

Cyber Bullying

• If someone you don't know someone who sends a message, block them
• If it gets severe tell a trusted adult

Don't meet up with people you don't know

• they might send you a message to meet them at a place 
• Don't go to the place unless you know that person

Avoid clicking on adds

• If you see an add that disturbs you, click out of the site
• And tell a trusted adult 

Never Tell anyone your password

• They can hack into your account
• Don't even tell your best friend because they might get mad at you at times
• and hack into your account
