Don't Tell Your Location

  • People could find out where you live
  • People could find out where go to school
  • People could find out where you like to hang out

Don't Give out your password

  • Someone could go on your account and change things
  • Someone could go on your profile and give out personal info
  • Someone could go on your profile and post personal photos

cyber Bullying

  • If someone says something nasty towards you, ignore it
  • If it continues, tell an adult 
  • If still bad, report them on the website

Think before you act

  • Stay away from offers that sound too good to be true
  • Be aware of websites that ask for personal information
  • Don't give information to websites that you don't trust

Think before you post

  • Think before you post videos or photos of yourself
  • Once you post a video or photo  of yourself it stays there forever
  • A photo may be downloadable for other people 

Don't Befriend people you don't know

  • Some people aren't always who they say they are
  • If they are your friend they may want to meet you in real life
  • They may ask you for information to get to know you

Privacy settings

  • Keep the privacy setting all the way up
  • All websites have privacy settings
  • This way you can see who wants to see your posts

  • Make your password consist of different letters and symbols
  • Make your password something you can remeber
  • Make your password something somebody won't remember or figure out
