Customize backgrounds

• To customize the background, go to the left ribbon on the webpage and click on the picture icon.
• That icon will take you to a menu area where you will see the picture icon, a circle icon that looks like a pie chart and a rectangle icon that has a diagonal line separating two colours that contrast each other.

How to change your font/theme

• If you look up there will be a FONTS/THEMES TAB
• You can choose from a variety of different themes, like UNDERDOG or ORIGAMI
• You can also choose a solid colour as a background.
• You would go to the Set background tab and go to the third tab on the top.

Inserting charts

• click circle that looks like a pie chart once you have clicked the image icon on the left ribbon of your screen.
• There you are given the option of a column, pie and label chart.

How to insert pictures:

• you would go to the set background tab on the left side of the screen.
• you can search up an item online, or get one from your computer files, by pressing " MY PICTURES"
• when searching online, you would type a phrase into the search engine, on top of the tab.

Insert Notes

• Just like how power point has a section where you can make notes, Haiku deck has that too.
• At the left ribbon of the webpage, click on an icon that looks like a file or a piece of paper and notes can be made.

Unlike power point the notes shows while presenting. The purpose of the note section is to include more detail about your work or show links to other resources.

Comparison

• Power point in comparison to Haiku deck gives the users more option with editing their work or customizing their work.
• Power point is very flexible with designing and customizing choices.
• Although haiku is great with visual aspects, it is a very controlled software presentation

Advantages:

• You have a decent amount of choices for your slides
• It's an online resource, so its easy to access with the internet
• You can add pictures from your social media accounts

Disadvantages

• Certain things are accessible with the pro paid feature
• There aren't many features advailable with the page layout
• Can't make it a group presentation
• Your presentation is public, you can only make it private if you have the pro paid feature

Tips

• It is good creating presentation for younger audience.
• It is easier to use than power point.
• It can be used to created portfolios
• I would recommend the use of this to younger age groups

Haiku deck is best for presentations with visuals or Statistic reports.
