Problem: Punji Traps
They killed many US troops who walked unsuspectingly into these traps. These traps are all over Vietnam and we don't know where they are until it is too late.

The hidden Vietcong would ambush US troops in the jungle and kill many of the US troops.

The tunnel system allowed the VC to ambush US troops and disappear into their tunnels.

Solution to punji traps and hidden VC
Giant tank with 2ft thick armor that can tow heavily armored troop transports. Armor stops the bullets and the transports carry the troops on their daily search.

Solution to VC tunnels
The bulldozer will move the ground and will open up entry ways into the tunnels. Then,it will dig up the tunnel and find more tunnels and repeat this process.
