PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Human body project

Circulatory and skeletal systems

Circulatory systenm

  • Consists of three independent systems
  • Heart (Cardiovascular)
  • Lungs (Pulmonary)
  • Arteries, Veins, Coronary, Portal Vessels (Systematic)

Heart

Muscular organ with four chambers. It pumps blood through arteies and veins

BLOOD

INCLUDES: RED BLOOD CELLS, PLASMA, PLATELET, & WHITE BLOOD CELLS

BLOOD VESSELS

  • Blood vessels are the body’s highways that allow blood to flow quickly
  • The size of blood vessels correspond with thr blood flowing through

SKELETAL SYSTEM

  • Made up of all the bones in our body
  • Connected by tendons, ligaments, and cartilage
  • Provides support to our body
  • Protects your internal organs
  • For example your cranium protects your brain

THE SKELETTAL SYSTEM IS MADE OF...

  • Skeletons
  • The skull
  • The backbone
  • The upper appendages
  • The hand

HOW THE TWO SYSTEMS WORKS TOGETHER

  • Both protect the heart
  • The bone marrow produces red blood cells
  • Move oxygen and glucose around cells
  • Moves waste to be disposed from the body
