BY YSABEL BIRMINGHAM

Humphrey Bogart was born on December 25th 1899 in New York City. He began his career in the 1920s on Broadway, a few years later he started getting big parts in movies in Hollywood. He became extremely famous in the 1940s with the big role for the movies Maltese Falcon and Casablanca. He married his last wife actress Lauren Bacall. He died age 57 1957 in Hollywood.

Humphrey Bogart died of esophageal cancer, caused by smoking, he smoked ever since he was young. He died accidentally, maybe if he had stopped smoking his death could have been prevented.

The cigaret is the cause of Humphrey Bogarts Death. It is made of Acetone, Acetic Acid, Ammonia, Arsenic, Benzene, Butane, Cadmium, Carbon Monoxide, Formaldehyde, Hexamine, Lead, Naphthalene, Methanol, Nicotine, Tar, Toluene some of commonly used in rat poison, nail polish remover, paving streets, hair dye, battery fluid etc. The cigarette causes great damage to the lungs and esophagus.

What we can learn from Humphrey Bogarts death is not to smoke. Over the years many people have died from smoking. I would recommend not smoking.
