HURRICANES

Woke up one morning looking out the window of my room. It looked like their was going to be a storm.

I sighed and then went to take a shower,and the water was very cold.After that
I went into the kitchen to make my brother and I breakfast before we went to school.

I was just finishing breakfast when my brother had came into the kitchen to sit and eat.Then I sat down and turned the TV on to watch the news.

It was showing that their was going to be a hurricane,that was going to hit Miami Florida in one hour. So the first thing I did was,I got a couple of pillows and food and threw them into the car.

Then we got into the car and started to drive south to get away form the bad storm.

Then we came back
4 hour's later to check to see how bad things were.
Our home was destroyed say's my brother. Everything was gone except for a wall that looked like it was going to all over any minute.Their were also a lot of trees that had been noked down and their were plants that looked all yellow.

My friend that lived next door had came over to tell us something.
She said that the storm was classified as a 5. She's also said that the wind speeds were going
150mph and (240km/hr)

A hurricane is intensifies by
over land a hurricane can't absorb moisture because there aren't any water. Also
they down grade because of strong trade winds that hampers the development of a hurricane.
