HYDRA CR

Your World, Simplified

The Problem

  • Cross Referencing electrical components and items from one manufacturer to another is:
  • Time-Consuming
  • Often Inaccurate
  • Very Painful

The Solution

  • Hydra CR provides an instant, reliable cross reference to an ever growing list of the most common and uncommon items in the electrical market. Forever changing the life of distributors, contractors and every other stakeholder involved in the process.

Underlying Magic

  • Hydra's exclusive, state of the art, database management system (DBMS). Intelligently and continuously pushing the limits of relationship-based databases while simultaneously providing the absolute best and simplest user interface (UIX) on the planet.

Target Market

  • At first, every stakeholder within the Electrical Industry: Electrical Distributors, Electrical Contractors and Electrical Manufacturers, with organic expansion to big DIY stores (Lowes, HD, Ace H. etc)
  • Later, any industry we wish to expand into as long as we have reliable access to a proven and vetted expert within that industry.

Target Market

  • Ultimate goal: to become the "Google of Cross-Reference" for all major industries. Literally if we have to.

Monetization

  • Let's model the CRM model of database monetization. Professional Customers: Subscription (via API or external Web-based Portal)
  • General Public: Freemium model with simple query limits or fully free with ads. (Google or wikypedia style, not preferred initially as it may cheapen the product)

Monetization (continued)

  • Custom services (we build a custom cross-reference for you!)
  • What else?

Go to Market

  • Website for overall company info
  • Using existing electrical industry contacts for word of mouth
  • Social networks (Linked-In, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube)

Competitive analysis

  • Negligible competition, aside from very localized and hard to find (and usually PDF based) cross-references buried within manufacturers' websites. None have a digital database of comparable scope, flexibility or ease of use and none return ALL manufacturers (only their own equivalent)
  • Ultimate test: Google returns virtually nothing of use on the topic of cross-reference

Hydra CR Executive team

  • Jay Fankam: Founder & CEO (60% ownership)
  • Falina Torres: VP of Operations (30% ownership)
  • Gabe Baca: VP of Technology (10% ownership)

FInancial Projections & Key Metrics

  • Key Metrics: 5 paying customers within the first 6 months.
  • Financial Projections: Depending on pricing structure decided upon
  • Jay will solely uphold website hosting cost upon launch
  • Database hosting cost will be divided upon the executive team as per their respective stake (60/30/10)

FInancial Projections/Key Metrics (COntinueD)

  • Out of any and all profits now and future: 20% will go to God first, the remaining 80% will be divided among Hydra's executive team as per agreed to during the inception of the company. (60/30/10). Any reinvestment of profits into the company (for enhancement purposes) will need to be agreed upon by Hydra executive members. (Jay will have final say in case of indecision)
