Use images/ photos / screen shots etc and import into explain everything.
Add voice to tell the story. use pointers, drawings, text etc to explain as you go.
Can cut out images for use in another environment / scenario, or use to animate the still image. Demo this.
Can also import video.

Audiboo - free app. record up to 3 minutes and then post to the web. Performance poetry! put it on the blog. Use the app to record. Go to audioboo.fm to get code to post to blog. can also get QR code.
