PRESENTATION OUTLINE

ICARUS & DAEDALUS

Daedalus, the inventor and his son, Icarus were prisoners in the labyrinth. They tried everything to get out.

Icarus would stare up at the birds, free to soar overhead.

One day his father had a risky escape idea based on his son's love for the birds.

Using wax and the feathers dropped from the birds, Daedalus would create wings so both his son and he would no longer be captives in the maze.

The plan was working seamlessly until Icarus started going higher and higher towards the sun...

The wax holding the feathers to his arms began melting inhibiting him from gliding any more...

ICARUS FELL TO HIS DEATH

Unlike his reckless son, Daedalus stayed close to the water and lived free, but no longer with his son.
