Time on task

• TK, Kinder, 1st grade: 30 minutes to 90 minutes
• 2nd and 3rd grade 1-2.5 hours
• 4th and 5th grade 2-3.5 hours

Tips

• Schedule 20 minute blocks for TK, Kinder and 1st grade.
• 20-30 minute blocks for 2nd and 3rd grade.
• 30-45 minute blocks for 4th and 5th grade
• End the day in the early afternoon
