  • Developed by Punya Mishra & Matthew J. Koehler (2006)
  • Draws on previous theories of pedagogy and content knowledge by Lee Shulman (1986)

The TPACK FRAMEWORK

  • Knowledge areas that teachers must know that are interrelated and overlap (Mishra & Koehler, 2006).
  • These are technology knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and content knowledge (Mishra & Koehler, 2006).
  • Teachers can use this TPACK knowledge to make information further manageable for their students (M, 2013).
