HOW IGNEOUS ROCKS ARE FORMED

  • They can be formed above ground or underground.
  • Formed when magma deep within the earth becomes trapped in small
  • Pockets.
  • Magma slowly cools and becomes igneous rock.
  • Can also be formed when volcanos erupt and lava cools above ground.

  • Andesite

USES OF IGNEOUS ROCKS

  • They use it to make statues.
  • Granite it can be used for facades of buildings.
  • Pumice is used to remove dead skin from peoples feet.
  • Andesite can be used in the construction feild to make tiles
  • Bricks and stones.

Igneous rock can be found on the surface in areas of current or past volcanism or in uplifted and eroded area. Deep ground or nearly anywhere. Or in areas of past or present glacial ion where igneous rock has been eroded and deposited.
