Obstacles

Untitled Slide

  • internet not working
  • students getting kicked out repeatedly
  • Time to make Nearpods
  • Sharing of devices

1. When internet is not working we could just do it the old fashioned way, and being prepared for that to happen.
2. For students that get kicked out repeatedly, I will preteach what to do in those cases and after explicitly teaching it a few times, they should be able to problem solve to get back in the presentation and join us.
3. For time to make Nearpods, finding what has already been made in the market place, ask fellow teachers if they already have something made, and backwards designing in iPLC and splitting up the work load and sharing between teachers.
4. Sharing devices should be fairly easy, since we are ALMOST a one to one in our grade, however, I do see if we are using the same Nearpods and same general time to teach specific subjects, we could run into problems. I would make sure to plan appropriately and talk with other teachers on the team to arrange times, or check with the other mobile labs to see if they can be checked out.
