  • Need lots of light
  • Soil acidity of 4.09 to 5
  • Moist, well drained soil

Planting area should be about 2 1/2 ft in diameter and about 1 ft deep, remove 1/3 - 1/2 of soil and mix in equal parts pre-moistened peat moss.

2-4 inches of mulch over roots ( bark mulch, acid compost, sawdust, and grass all work) repeat every other year.

Heavily pruned each year to prevent over fruiting

Blueberries are used for jams, jellies, muffins, they're dried, and also used for wine.
They are also used for its manganese, vitamin c, vitamin k, and as an antioxidant.

Blueberries are grown in Michigan; as the leader in highbush production in the U.S., in British Columbia; as the leader in highbush production in Canada, and in Australia.
