Hey there everyone my name is Javier Juarez and today am going to talk about how these Philosophers that I learn from class are really important to me in my daily life. The Philosophers that am going to talk are Socrates how he talks about what is right and wrong, Epicurus how he doesn't take thinks serious and all ways relax in life, and how Plato cave tell you how people use there imagine to bring it into there reality.

Socrates talks about what is right and wrong so we know what is the full truth. Socrates would all ways talk to someone that have a lot of knowledge of a specific subject and would all ways ask question just to know about what is right and wrong and people really hate that he ask those question about there subject. In Sophie's world it says it's quotes "Socrates was concerned with finding clear and universally valid definitions of right and wrong" close of quote. That why I use Socrates theory to question thing in life that I don't really know.

Epicurus has a relaxing life and would all ways take the relaxing route and doesn't fear about death. In Sophie's world it quote "In order to live a good life it is not unimportant to overcome the fear of death. To this end Epicurus made use of Democritus’s theory of the “soul atoms.”... “Death does not concern us,” Epicurus said quite simply, “because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist." that the end of the quote. The reason why I use Epicurus is because taught me how to live life freely and I don't take thing to seriously and if something happen I will always learn from my mistaken and then move on from the problem and keep pushing in life.

Plato Cave is about how people use there imagination into there reality. Plato Allegory tells a story about how these people are lock up on a cave look at a wall and they can't turn around but they can only see are shadow from people walking on the bridge and one of them get release from the cave and he explore and he saw everything and went back to his friends but they didn't believe him. In Sophie's world Plato says it quotes "What Plato was illustrating in the Myth of the Cave is the philosopher’s road from shadowy images to the true ideas behind all natural phenomena.” This is the end of the quote. In short what he is saying is that people will take a fictional thing and bring it to the real world and they ignore the fiction of it. There are movie that Plato allegory with there meaning and those movies are The Lego movie, The matrix, and The Truman show. And you are wondering how I use Plato Allegory and is that I use my imagination to help me identify object or species around the world.
