  • The average temperatures in Indonesia are in the high 90s.

  • The western and northern parts of Indonesia get the most rain because of the prevailing winds.

HOW CLIMATE IMPACTS THE PEOPLE

  • The climate affects Indonesia by spreading diseases. 2 diseases are malaria and dengue.
  • Sea levels rise and that causes flooding and pollutes drinking water.
  • If not a lot of rain falls there could be drought and fires on forests.
  • If the sea levels rise and not a lot of rain falls, the economy will have to spend more money.
  • The wildlife could be in danger because of droughts, which can cause forest fires and ruin their habitat.

  • It has been recently raining a lot which might cause flooding.
  • If flooding happens, many homes are going to be destroyed.
  • Crops are also going to be destroyed so people won't have food.
  • The drinking water will be polluted if flooding happens.
  • There also has been a lot of hot, and humid days recently.
