On march 19 1911 a factory burned
The fire killed more than 155 workers
Most of the victims died because of locked doors too keep them insisde
This brought attention too working conditions

Within 18 minutes it was all over
Forty nine workers were burned alive or suffacted by smoke
36 were dead in the elavator shaft
58 died from jumping on to the side walks
With two more dieng later from there injurys

Later on april 4th there was a protest
Attemded by 80,000 people

HOW THE CONDITIONS ENDED
The law was passed saying that children between 14-16
have limited hours. people between 16-18 have
unlimited hours but with safe conditions.
