  • Teacher Instruction - using photos describe how to use background information and clues to make inferences
  • Guided Student Practice: While reading story, demonstrate how to make inferences of what monsters may look like
  • Independent Student Practice: Students will use inferencing to make a drawing of Cynthia
  • Closure: Review definition of inferencing and practice again with "What's in Ms. Stull's Bag"
