Explanation: this is when they are in the cellar and after a while Riq figured out the code to find the Hystorian but then SQ came to take him away and sell him into slavery and so he yelled at Dak and Sera how to read the code.

"'James', Riq cried, his stomach lurching. He tore after him scooped up the blanket and James in one smooth move, and then whirled around three angry men bearing down on him."(pg.103)

"He screamed into the jerk's ear as Riq belted the guy in the gut."(pg.167)

They were just captured again and got free and tricked the bad guys and were now beating them up in the face.

Authors Purpose

To entertain and inform. Author's bias is that slavery is wrong and the underground rail road was a positive organization

since they worked to end slavery. CITATION: "Not that it should be much of a mystery wasn't the fact

that he'd been mistaken for a slave enough?"

SUMMARY

This book is about Riq, Dak and Sera trying to fix the break in the time period.

And it takes place in Maryland in 1850. They are trying to help stop slavery.

I would recommend this book because it has to do with history. It's funny and informative. This author has other

books in this series. I have not seen this book on TV or as a movie.
