Inflation is the rate that usual prices for goods and services rises. As a result, the power of purchasing is falling. Sever inflation can cause too much change in the costs of goods and services. During inflation, there is a loss in currency value because there is more money than there are goods. Inflation is often an indication that the economy has grown.

The effect of inflation on society is that if its high, people do not want to buy a lot of goods during that time. Business and factories that produce goods will lose consumers and as a result of that, people will lose their jobs. When the government tampers with the price of taxes, they have effect on inflation.
