  • Artemis is the goddess of hunting, the moon, and children
  • Artemis is also known as Diana.
  • Artemis' sacred animals and objects are the moon, stags, and a cypress.
  • Artemis is related to Zeus and Hera.
  • Artemis is the goddess of hunting, but she protects young animals.
  • Artemis made ten wishes to Zeus, that was made into a poem.

In the Trojan War Artemis took the side of the Trojans. She also saved Iphigenia after she provoked the goddess' anger by boasting about her hunting skills.
