Information Processing Family

Inquiry Learning- posing a question and through experiment/discovery finding the answer.

Inquiry Learning-using prior knowledge to come up with a hypothesis to question that teacher poses.

Project-based Learning- students gain knowledge by practicing for long periods of time to understand complex questions by collecting and analyzing data

Sea Perch students gain knowledge on how motors and how to maneuvering robots works. This is a real project that are practiced from grades 6-12.

Socratic method-class group arguments using critical thinking and evidence to answer a question posed by the teacher.

Before starting any group arguments be sure the students know and abide by class rules. Here is an example of such rules.
