CHIBCHAS

  • The Chibcha peoples are also known as Muiscas and are located today in Colombia; some of them have joined their ties with Spanish peoples, focusing on the Eastern Cordillera of the country

  • Chibchas used to dresses and had a sense of comfort
  • They grew corn in some varieties
  • From this corn they also prepared the porridge and their usual bread
  • They also grew potatoes or potatoes of many kinds
  • They ingredients to cook what they eat every day: cubios hibias, and chiguas; non-poisonous cassava that they turned into bread or eaten roasted; arracacha, sweet potato, beans, squash, tomatoes and chili
