  • He was a 19th century english mathmatietian and scientist
  • He wanted to understand how heredity influenced a person's abilities , character, and behavior
  • Galton traced the ancestry of various element people and found that greatness runs in families

CONCLUSIONS

  • Galton concluded that genius or eminence is a heredity trait
  • He encouraged "good marriages" to fill the world with talented offspring
  • A person's heredity and enviroment interact to influence intelligence

  • Inheireted traits are controlled by genes
  • Heritable triats are known to be passes through generations by DNA
  • Physical traits that are transferred through genes include: height, weight, athletic ability
