- They have a protective outer shell called an exoskeleton.
- Most have compound eyes to see very well.
- They use camouflage to protect themselves from predators

- They have fast reproduction strategies and processes
- They have different mouth parts to get the food they need.
- They use different strategies to get to their food like climbing, flying, ect.

- They are so successful because there is so many of them.
- They use there antenna to feel and move around.
- They lay multiple eggs at a tome to keep their species alive

- They have chewing and biting mouth parts
- Their opposite legs move at the same time
- They have legs with little hair like things that cling on to things so they don't fall off.

- Cockroaches are nocturnal animals and they mate at night
- Cockroaches try to find food but they use their antenna to feel around and smell
- Cockroaches defense system is their hissing
WHAT I LEEARNED ABOUT COCKROACHES
- They use camouflage to defend themselves
- Cockroaches use their antenna to not just feel but to smell too
- Cockroaches hide in places that are dark because they are nocturnal animals
